Meet the Handyman

HANDY DANDY HANDYMAN was established in 2022.

It all started with a dream of owning my own business ever since I was 15 years old.

Over the years I have worked with many people in a variety of construction jobs and positions.

 I started working as a home renovator/remodeler with my Uncle, my first job entailed a complete tear out of all flooring, windows, doors, cabinets, fixtures, roofing, drywall etc.  followed by assessment of all issues and the reinstallation of everything with all new materials .

 During the housing market crash that started in 2007, I worked in property preservation for banks. We had to assess properties of foreclosed homes, which meant we had to start by removing mountains of garbage from the entire property and submit bids to repair all aspects of the home.

This included: Tear outs followed by repairs, lawn care, upkeep of the entire property and cleaning the homes weekly until they were sold .

One of my dream jobs was to work in welding and fabrication. When the economy began to stabilize I obtained a job at JV NORTHWEST, a stainless steel tank manufacturer , rated #1 for quality, in the U.S.   I started out as a helper and mostly just swept floors in the beginning, this wasn't part of my dream of course, but I have never been afraid of work and knew I would work my way up. In the 8 years I worked for this company I went from helper, to maintenance help, to fabricator and finally got to senior fabricator which is the highest you could achieve, besides being a supervisor. Being a senior fabricator and highly rated, gave me the chance to work in Hawaii for 10 months at the new KONA BREWERY. On this job we designed and built process piping for the entire brewery, while also staging and installing all parts included for the brewing process.

As of May 2022 I am 33 years old now and currently working at Five Star Industries in Seattle as a lead  Fabricator/Installer. Five Star Industries is high quality and focuses on advanced and luxury projects. With this company I have experience in things such as: Building spiral staircases, security gates, architectural paneling for a penthouse in the new Rainier Tower in Seattle, and custom work for multi-million dollar mansions .

I'm currently transitioning to my own business and I am ready for my next step in life,  where I can help people using my expertise, attention to detail and quality of work to better homes, businesses, condos and/or rentals.
